Building The Pet Motel & Salon is a fully heated and air-conditioned indoor kennel. Our ceiling fans and exhaust fan system ensure that your pet receives constant fresh air circulation and the kennel is well lit with artificial lighting as well as two skylights that provide natural lighting. Feel free to tour our facility and experience for yourself our immaculately clean, comfortable boarding environment!

Accommodations

Dog Accomodations Each dog is boarded separately in runs that are 3 feet wide and from 7 to 10 feet in length. Each run is separated by a sturdy concrete wall, providing a calm, private space for each dog. We also have several runs that are 5 feet wide and 10 feet long for customers with multiple dogs that board together. Our dog runs are designed across from each other and most dogs love this setup. Most people don't realize how much dogs enjoy socializing with their peers, so a stay at The Pet Motel & Salon is like going to summer camp!

Bedding

Bedding Each dog run is uniquely equipped with a raised platform making a cozy place for your dog to rest. Washable bedding such as blankets, towels, or fleece mats are permissible. Covered beds with foam or stuffing are not acceptable.

Exercise

Exercise All dogs boarding at The Pet Motel & Salon are taken outside to our exercise area a minimum of 3 times per day. Exercise Our enclosed exercise area is constructed of concrete block for maximum privacy and security. It is our philosophy that guaranteed outdoor time provides a routine that dogs are accustomed to and gives them an activity to look foward to.

Food

Each dog is fed once in the morning. We feed dry Member's Mark Exceed Perfomance dog food with chicken and rice mixed with some canned meat and warm water. Most dogs love it, but you are welcome to bring your own dog food to be fed according to your specifications in order to keep your dog's diet consistent. Please prepare your dog's own food requirements in individually portioned sandwich bags. Please do not bring in a bag of dog food.

Vaccinations

All dogs must be current on rabies, distemper, and bordetella (kennel cought) prior to boarding. Dogs must be at least 4 months old to board.
