Pet Motel and Salon requires full payment for all boarding and grooming services upon departure of the pet. Fees for lodging are posted on our website and also in our lobby area.
The Pet Motel and Salon’s boarding fees are calculated by counting the number of days the pet has boarded, starting with the check-in day. We do not calculate boarding stays using a 24-hour clock and have a 12 noon check-out time on the day of pick-up (Monday-Saturday). Pets picked up after 12 noon will be charged the full boarding rate for that day. We charge a full days’ boarding fee for all Sunday pick-ups.
The Pet Motel and Salon is not a 24-hour care facility. We monitor and care for your pets during our business hours and we usually start our animal care 1-2 hours prior to opening. Please review our business hours on our website.
Pet Motel and Salon requires that all pets boarding be free of ticks and fleas. Any pet that is determined to have fleas/ticks upon admittance to the boarding facility will be treated to rid these pests at the pet owner’s expense.
Pet Motel and Salon requires all dogs have current immunizations against Rabies, Distemper, Parvovirus, and Bordetella (type of canine cough). The Bordetella vaccine does not treat all forms of canine cough. Please have your dogs vaccinated at least 5-7 days prior to boarding. The Pet Motel and Salon will not be responsible for any communicable diseases your dog contracts during its stay here, despite our vaccination requirements.
Pet Motel and Salon requires all cats have current immunizations against Rabies, Feline Distemper, Rhinotracheitis, and Calici Virus. Please have your cats vaccinated 5-7 days prior to boarding. The Pet Motel and Salon will not be responsible for any communicable diseases your cat contracts during its stay here, despite our vaccination requirements.
Pet Motel and Salon will exert due diligence in providing a safe and secure environment for your pet. We will not be responsible for injuries to your pet arising from escape attempts, climbing, “cage-fighting”, or rubbing/pawing at their enclosure. Pet owners will be solely responsible for any veterinary expenses resulting from necessary treatment for these type injuries.
Pet Motel and Salon will provide a sanitary boarding space for all pets boarding here. Some pets may experience intestinal issues due to stress, such as diarrhea or loose stools. Pet owners will be responsible for any veterinary costs associated with treating this issue.
Pet Motel and Salon encourages pet owners to bring food from home to keep their pet’s diet consistent. Bringing food that your pet is accustomed to eating will minimize digestive issues arising from a change in foods.
Pet Motel and Salon encourages pet owners to bring in personal belongings from home to help make their pet’s stay most comfortable. We will not be responsible for any personal items that get damaged or misplaced during the pet’s stay here. Please make sure all personal items are expendable should they get misplaced or damaged despite our best efforts to properly return them.
Pet Motel and Salon does not offer medication orally by hand-pilling directly into the mouth. Instead, we only offer medication through food, hidden in a canned meat ball. The Pet Motel and Salon will not be responsible for any pet that refuses or fails to consume its necessary medication.
The pet owner will provide an emergency contact and an emergency phone number at check-in.
Senior Pet Addendum (10 years or older) Sometimes the boarding kennel environment is not ideal for older pets. We accept senior pets that still function well. They must be able to get up without assistance, and still respond to human interaction/touch. Should your senior pet require emergency care or medical assistance (we use Monticello Animal Hospital when available), and we are unable to immediately contact you, please indicate what medical treatment option you would prefer or any financial cap considerations due to the pet’s age and known medical conditions.
Please clearly explain the Medical Treatment Plan for your senior pet(s):
